2012 Joint State Convention : Event Details 

  • WEDNESDAY-SATURDAY Ladies Spa Appointments: Your hostess, Kim Figone, invites our lady attendees to treat themselves to a relaxing appointment at the beautiful Stillwater Spa, located at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort. Each lady who is a registered attendee of the convention can chose from a massage, facial, or manicure/pedicure combination. Appointment times are available beginning on Tuesday, June 26 thru Sunday, July 1.These treatments are available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, on a first-come, first-served basis. NEW THIS YEAR! When you submit your convention registration form to the CRRC office, ladies who have signed up for a spa appointment will receive instructions on scheduling their treatment directly with the spa. Charges for your appointment, including gratuity, will be billed directly to CRRC. CRRC is pleased to provide one “standard” spa service per lady. Should you wish to upgrade your complimentary service or book additional appointments, those charges will be charged to your individual portfolio. Sorry, but appointments are for ladies only, and are not transferrable to any other person!

  • WEDNESDAY Welcome to the Lake Reception: Come one and all! Join your friends and family for light hors d’oeuvres and a hosted bar before heading out for dinner on your own. Entertainment will be provided to kick off the convention. Resort casual attire

  • THURSDAY & FRIDAY Golf Tournament:
    • We’ve contracted with The Golf Courses at Incline Village for our two-day tournament. On Wednesday, we’ll play the Mountain Course, a 58 par course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. On Thursday, we’ll play the Championship Course, a 72 par course with more challenges, and designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. To find out more about the courses, visit http://www.golfincline.com/.

    • The clubhouse is located 1.5 miles from the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort. The resort and the golf course will be providing complimentary shuttle service to our group, beginning at 6:30 am on both tournament days. To catch a shuttle, simply ask valet at the resort or golf course.

    • The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort is providing complementary golf club storage for our group. NEW THIS YEAR! You must take your golf clubs with you to the course. They will not be delivered in advance for you!

    • Golf fees include:
      • 2 rounds of golf with cart and range balls
      • Box lunch both days
      • Bag tags for every golfer
      • Tee prizes for every golfer
      • Cash prizes and trophy’s for each flight and contests
      • Golf Gratuities both days to course staff
    • Due to popular demand, we will continue the two handicap flights – net 15 and under, net 16 and over, as well as the two-person scramble flight. You will be asked during registration for your handicap, or average score for the scramble flight.

    • Contests include Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin for both men and lady golfers on the second day of the tournament.

    • Appropriate golf attire is strictly enforced. Collared shirts or mocks are mandatory for men. Denim blue jeans, tank tops without sleeves, tee shirts, jogging or gym shorts, cut-offs, halter tops or bathing suits are not permitted. Shirts must be worn at all times. Golf shoes with soft spikes or tennis shoes are acceptable. Bare feet, flip-flops, and baseball or track-style cleats are not acceptable.

  • THURSDAY Vendor’s Showcase and HELLO! Raffle: The spotlight will be on our Associate Members for this hosted Hors d’oeuvres and Cocktail Party. CRRC staff will be distributing HELLO! cards to each attendee. Those who validate their cards by collecting initials from each vendor’s showcase booth can turn in their completed cards for the HELLO! raffle, being held during the President’s Gala Ball Friday night. Come and thank these valuable members of CRRC for their support of the convention!

          • IMPORTANT: To secure your trade show booth, contact Trish Roath at (916) 444-2772, ext. 22 or trish@crrcnorth.org. Booths are available on a first come, first served basis.

  • THURSDAY Open Night: This is your chance to take your customers out to dinner, or enjoy an evening with family and friends. You can contact the concierge at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort if you'd like to make special arrangements.

  • FRIDAY Beach Olympics: Come down to the beach and join your team for the greatest games yet! Try your skills at Budget Brigade, Eyes Mouth Body, Marble Madness and Team Trivia! It's a good time for the entire family! Prizes will be awarded! Bottled water will be provided! Wear your team t-shirts and shorts. Sunscreen highly suggested!

          • NOTE: If you have family members accompanying you on your trip but not registered for the convention, they can participate in this event at a cost of $35/per person by signing them up on the on-line registration form. Cost includes a team t-shirt.

  • FRIDAY President’s Gala Ball: Join incoming CRRC State President Mark Figone for a night of celebration! This event indoors begins with cocktails from 6-6:45 pm. Next, you’ll enjoy a formal dinner, followed by the official CRRC Program for the convention, including the presentation of Golf Tournament prizes and awards and the HELLO! Raffle. But be sure to bring your dancing shoes, as the band will be playing until Midnight! Resort casual attire

  • SATURDAY Champagne Brunch & Annual Meeting: You'll be treated to a full brunch, followed by a Joint Meeting and the CRRC State President Changing of the Gavel from David Fahrion to Mark Figone. Spouses/guests are encouraged to attend. Business casual attire

  • SATURDAY Farewell Reception: Join CRRC State President Mark Figone for a relaxing evening to end the convention. Hosted cocktails and a buffet dinner will be served. Mark will be presenting his closing comments during the evening. Resort casual attire
